i know i really should have updated ages ago but hey, better late than never right? haha. now, i'm finally going to write about the tattoo convention! i know everyone is probably more interested in the pictures but you're going to have to wait for that, haha, because being the lazy person that i am, i have yet to upload it into my computer. hahaha, the pictures are somewhat pathetic if that's any consolation, lol.
me and Sueey went for the convention on its last day, which was a sunday. there was so much hype about it, being the first tattoo convention held in Singapore and with tattoo artists from all over the world, so it was pretty cool, haha. when we reached the ticketing booth, there was a sign that said below the age of 18 are not allowed. and we were like what the hell! hahaha, we thought that there was a minimum age requirement for entry. we were cussing and swearing, haha. alas, we didn't read it carefully, for it actually read tattoo services for people below the age of 18 are not allowed. hahahaha, we were so happy [: silly fools we were. we were the first few inside, seeing that it opened at 1100 and we were there at 1108. semangat siaa, haha. there were like close to a hundred booths and the artists were preparing their equipment and stuff. Canada, Belgium, Taiwan, Indonesia, USA, HongKong were some of the numerous countries involved in this convention. there was also a tattoo removal booth and it kept showing videos of people lasering their tattoo off and it was just so *shudders*. so, it was kinda intimidating because everyone there was tattooed except the two of us, ahem. hahaha. people were staring at us everywhere we went and giving us the curious stares, haha. but we kinda got used to it after awhile. there were local celebrities there too, i saw Jonathan Leong and Eunice Olsen. omg, Jonathan is smouldering hooot! Sueey literally gasped when she saw him and he turned to look at us, and gave us a tiny smile, hahaha. we also saw Bob Tyrrell who took over Kat Von D on LA Ink when she had to go for surgery and he was so nice and friendly. oh, i saw Joseph! he looks the same since i saw him almost seven months ago, lalala [:
apparently, we came too early as Chris Garver didn't arrive until one and a half hours later. we were just idling around in front of his booth, taking pictures of random things when suddenly, he appeared right in front of us and we didn't notice until people crowded around. hahaha, if i stretched out my arm, i could probably touch him. that's how close he was, hahaha. as usual, we both started hyperventilating at the sight of him and taking pictures of him, lol. his bodyguard was so big that he practically blocked my entire view of Chris Garver! i know Chris is a celebrity and needs someone that could deflect bullets should the need arises but why did he have to be so damn big? anyway, i'm not going to talk about what happened next or not i'll just feel like stabbing myself hundred times over. *sniffs* i'm so angry with myself! never mind, there's still next year. fingers crossed. i think that's all that happened at the tattoo convention, haha. i want my stardust!
